1987 Vanagon GL Wolfsburg

Collision Repair

In November of 2001 my Vanagon was involved in an accident. A driver in a POS Caviler failed to yield while making a left turn. I hit them at approximately 35 MPH on their right front wheel. The other driver was ticketed, but I was left with a smashed Vanagon. It took nearly five months to settle with the other drivers insurance company, but it was settled and now the repairs completed.

Changes made during repairs: 88+ grille (large emblem), black VW emblem in grille, SA turn signals, SA bull bar, seam welded lower panel sheet metal, anti rock chip agent added to nose paint.
